Hm I see. I was telling a friend about Mitra exactly because there are premium subscriptions. A downside of the approach you propose is that premium subscribers would see both the previews and full posts which is a little confusing.
I imagine making the preview and the actual post *be* the same activitypub entity is difficult because 3rd party servers wouldn't handle sub-entity privacy... Perhaps replies can be used to make this a little more ergonomic somehow? Would a public reply to a subscriber-only post show up on 3rd party timelines?
