it seems to me like what you're pointing to is systems. you can't just change individual behavior to address the issues of capitalism, behavior is downstream of systemic incentives and infrastructure.

it doesn't matter if some people choose to do more, if that choice can't snowball to threaten my basic survival. The problem is not over-achievers making me look bad, but competition being required if I want to eat food or live inside.
