Having seen it as a younger person, I rewatched it recently, and it's still awesome for me...
IDK how kids today would react to it... But we are at a moment where practical effects are getting more popular, and this film creates an entire world from practical effects.. down to singing and dancing plants and stuff.
It does kind of drag when the Skeksies aren't on the screen though...
