He couldn't outpace the drill. Workers can't outpace combines, given endless free oil. Unlike those, LLMs are not technological marvels. They do nothing (and will do nothing) that does anyone any good. All they're good at is wasting people's time. That's it. If we seized the means of production, the most we could do with it is demolish it.

That being said, there's nothing wrong with protecting life and happiness. Or "human rights" whatever you want to call it. Argue however you like.
