I’d also file this under “don’t trust the kayfabe” - like I would absolutely expect a lumber workers union to talk up how the relatively union friendly government isn’t actually anti-forestry because otherwise their workers are going to be susceptible to the narrative from the bosses.

I’m sure the NDP could do better but elections are about choosing your opponent. I’d rather fight the NDP than the Cons to get good policy, b/c then I might win.
