There is a saying among studio engineers when a musician can't nail their part "we'll fix it in the mix".

Hardly anyone gets this, but our society can't be "fixed in the mix". A democratic election 5 years from now isn't going to make everything peachy.

It's already destroyed, we're just coasting down the road until we come to a stop.

Now's the best chance to rip out all the broken shit (like almost everything) and rebuild it from the ground up.
