kolektiva justified the almost-removal as because I had written a post "calling out" The Bad Space and that this was somehow encouraging inter-server conflict, but it was really because the initial mod assumed it was racist.

kolektiva, to its communal credit, decided not to remove me after all (but after posting to all and sundry that I'd done something questionable). I thanked them and quietly moved to mastodon.social.
