- The reason I bring up Reticulum in these conversations is because it already has the notion of "stamps" where the requester has to complete a proof of work assignment before it can retrieve data.
It's mainly used at the moment at the network management layer, but I can see this idea moving up the stack, and potentially expanding to include something like micropayments as alternatives to cryptographic proofs of work.
