This is not a new thing, I wanted to check by curiosity and as I never got an answer (never asked actually :))
So now, I ask, cause I have never seen a Masto instance that slow by the past and for a BSD one, a bit elitist and closed instance moreover, that's astonishing.
They must do some kind of filtering/throttling.
