This is not a new thing, I wanted to check by curiosity and as I never got an answer (never asked actually :))
So now, I ask, cause I have never seen a Masto instance that slow by the past and for a BSD one, a bit elitist and closed instance moreover, that's astonishing.
They must do some kind of filtering/throttling.

So you are more annoyed by not having Internet than about foreign countries carpet bombing your country?
I was already dubious about many of your toots. Many of my tunisian and lebanese friends (and relatives) who went trough the war would not hold such takes even though they're despising, rightfully, their gov.
I wish Iran will be free but by themselves AND FOR themselves.

I thought they went full Yoga with the X1 Tablet.
You still have the T14s line which is pretty good, yes its keeb is a letdown compared to the Classic but it remains a great machine.

"Cloud" is a bad metaphor for platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, Heroku
It should rather have been called "Smoke", "Haze" or "Smell"

Not good.
Only people who were teenage in 2010s would think that.
One who just discovered Ubuntu or was more webdev oriented.
It matches the disinterest on infra/sysadmin stuff of that specific era when all the junkie salesmen were pushing for azure, aws and other serverless BS...
And yes, Microsoft sucked and still sucks. The "right tool for the job" is a fallacy from people who would not really care, often FreeBSDsters :)
M$ is about coercion, never technical merit.
