I'm one of those people who thinks Christmas day has way too much build up and expectation, one day just can't handle that much weight. There's all this pressure to have a magical time. I usually enjoy all the stuff surrounding it more. This is also a time where you're very aware of the people who are missing from your life, and you miss them even more.
If you're the person who ends up doing the bulk of Christmas prep, and you've been working non stop for 3 days, ffs let someone else do the clean up, and sit down with an adult beverage!
