The CEO of Lloyds, Charlie Nunn has written in the FT about the next Govt. needing (now) to work with business (on planning, sustainable growth & financial resilience).
Its ironic really as Govt's for some time in the UK, in one way or another have been in the pocket of financial services & many of our problems lie in the privileging of their interests over not just other business sectors, but the country as a whole.
Its either mendacity or a lack of self-knowledge... or both!
