I think your perception may be colored by tiktok fags. I've met one parrot guy and he was a nice old man, but those stupid bird videos of them breaking shit are everywhere because the owners want attention, and they realize the cat/dog video market is oversaturated.
Also male cat ladies are called "cat dads" because these poor millennials never had kids.
