For instance, people who understand what ai actually is and how corrosive resource disparity and social immobility is to the social body. And they need support from people who understood the world back in the cold war. People who remember how Stasi and Securitate and J Edgar Hoover targeted individuals. People who could have predicted the need for domestic vaccine production, and the need for readily handing out support to farmers when economic structures collapse, and the dangers of fascists.
