But the age of consent is a legal thing and varies from one country to the next. In the UK it's 16. BUT the medical/legal definition of paedophilia is about sexual attraction to pre-pubescent children. Desiring sex with under age children as defined in your jurisdiction is a crime. Immoral too but not always paedophilia.
