Hi,
We need a lot more generation than we have today if we are going to rapidly increase the number of EVs. In addition, there isn’t sufficient transmission infrastructure to deliver the extra power needed. Both require many many billions to be invested ahead of growth in demand.
Sorry but this is the space I have worked in for the last 25 years. As a developer of solar technology and projects; an adviser/lobbyist to governments about renewables/emissions; and an consultant to companies around developing technologies and projects.
