There is nothing aggressive about this breed. At all. By nature, Pits have amount the best temperaments. They are only outclassed by golden retrievers. Labs have a more aggressive temperament. This isn't just my feelings, this is from large sample studies. They are however very very strong. I mean very strong. Hence the reason people get them and train them to be aggressive. Or really mostly is mistreatment. They're highly empathetic. Which is why they are fantastic with kids and babies even without training of any kind. But because of their high empathy, if they are mistreated and abused, they will not trust anything and that's where things can go wrong. Because of their strength, they will probably kill whatever they felt they needed to attack.
Fyi, the breed with the worst temperament is the German Shepherd. But they are highly intelligent and thus great at training. But if you don't train one, they are terrible dogs to have around other people.
