Finally got around to reading The Bezzle, by Cory Doctorow (npub1fdr…lvhs)
This book was a lot of fun, while also being infuriating with bits like:
“The Computer Fraud and Abuse Act was signed by Ronald Reagan in a panic in 1986 after he watched the movie War Games where a young Matthew Broderick nearly starts World War III by hacking into a secret government computer. True story."
Highly recommend.
(P.S.: I now want to write hate mail to attorney Stephen P. Heymann.
