We agree about most parts of this. The point I want people to appreciate is that it's not just about the ends. The means have to be part of the discussion. Even if people in MN broadly don't want criminal illegals there, it doesn't follow that they want them removed in this way and it should matter how the local community wants enforcement to be carried out.

It's also just as important that the cops who we both think are criminals be held accountable as it is that the criminal immigrants be held accountable. We want a society where criminal behavior is not tolerated, regardless of who the criminals are.
