KYC’d BTC is tracked/traceable from wallet to wallet, spend to spend, going forward. Breaking this can happen via coinjoin…again, going forward. Doesn’t erase what you’ve bought and moved in the past. There is no “backward” privacy from this. Coinjoins are expensive at this time. What I’ve outlined is an alternative method I’ve heard about but never engaged in myself, that provides the same features at far, far less cost.
