Honestly, hate or admire Richard Stallman, but he and others like him literally watched the tech industry grow worse and worse over time, from "merely" overcharging people, abusing copyright, and monopolizing their power, to building a vast, near-inescapable surveillance state over the entire internet and wielding the power to enforce real-world censorship over others just saying the unprofitable thing. ​​

It's fair to have to deal with the world we have now, but don't get too heated over those who are overly demanding for change
