I understand the frustration, but it's also frustrating that ableist stuff meets so little challenge. I've had another friend hospitalised this week, it's very front of mind - it's hard to erase common sayings from our everyday chat, but it is worth trying and it does make a difference.
The widespread use of 'insane' to mean bad isn't helpful. I know it's easy. Doesn't make it right.
