This is what I mean, our way of thinking about thoughts is, at present, based on an almost cold utility.

This way of thinking about thoughts is bad. It is not good. It only feels good.

The "reciprocal" nature of it is based on both the "for" and "against" sides being based in Utilitarianism, hence the "loop hell".

Once you break from using Utilitarianism to evaluate your thoughts, things become clearer.
