It's more like a cryptocurrency than a payment infrastructure.
I honestly don't see the reasoning why we would need something like that, rather than a single payment system to "replace" current card processors, or satispay, or the number of local payment systems that have cropped up recently. I would like something like Pix (the Brazilian payment system), for example.
