We need to all stop paying federal taxes and tell our state legislators to double our state taxes. Trump has made it clear that states are on their own. Okay, then. If the feds are not doing anything, we don’t need to pay them taxes. If even 5% of the population decides not to pay, the IRS would be overwhelmed.
Thinking further, let’s double the state tax rate only on those of us making above the median income in the state. Massachusetts needs a graduated and progressive income tax if we are not going to be getting help from the USA.
