This is why I don't ascribe to "blanket statement" stuff. Way too many people don't realise that *every* group they might malign is, essentially, made of people just like them. That it's almost never "flawed character / ideology" - it's just "they were just like you, but in different circumstance to you; and you'd have likely handled the shit they had to in broadly the same way they did - you just haven't been tested as they were".
