After almost 80 years of European security being (sometimes unevenly) 'guaranteed' by the US via NATO, will Trump finally require Europe to depend completely on itself for security?
Certainly Trump's threats to the US commitment to NATO would imply as such.
If this does pass & European states need to raise their defence spending (if they're looking to deter aggressors, specifically Russia), what will that mean for already faltering economies?
