West Seattle Garden Tour 12/14. I had to snap a pic of this Pittisporum tenuifolium 'Tasman Ruffles' clipped into ball. Normally you'd see this done with boxwood, a European plant. But it's susceptible to a disease called boxwood blight and everyone is looking alternatives. This plant is a New Zealand native. I have many of these shrubs as an informal hedge but seeing one clipped into a ball is new for me. #gardening #Bloomscrolling #Seattle Gardening (npub1nw7…g0ek)
