Thing is, my latest (2021) petrol car, you can hardly hear the engine and all the road noise is from the tyres which you get on EVs as well. Even moving slowly have had pedestrians not know I was there.
Have to balance ideology to practicality
If EVs work for you then great
They just don't work for me (and perhaps many other people) yet
