There was documentary on Swiss TV station SRF about Reusser, that showed her having MECFS-like symptoms. Filming had started before with a focus on her preparation for the big races in Paris. But when she fell ill, the focus shifted to her struggle with health issues. Even though Reusser is an odd person the documentary was heart-wrenching.
In the winter 2024/25 Reusser announced that she was cured. She also switched teams, away from the strong Dutch team, where she was a helper to Vollering >
