By the way, the fact that Doug DeMuro’s YouTube channel is now part of Cars & Bids means that one can no longer trust his reviews of cars that are currently for sale on Cars & Bids—of which there are increasingly many. There is a built-in conflict of interest here: Doug makes money when he sells the car, so how can he review it with journalistic integrity?

I’ve noticed that he almost always leaves a glowing review for the cars available on auction. Could it be that he only selects prime examples from the auction lot to highlight? Maybe, but how would I know that’s the case?
