I continue to see nonsensical takes about this, along the lines of “Primal only removes CSAM if users report it”, so I want to set the record straight.
At Primal we have zero tolerance for CSAM. If we detect a user posted CSAM, we immediately purge *all* files posted by that user and ban them from Primal. We run automatic detection on all uploaded files, plus we do manual checks multiple times per day.
We host a lot of user files, so even with these measures we sometimes miss things. When this happens your best course of action as a user is to report it to us (email support@primal.net) and we will remove it immediately.
