When I worked for a *very* large insurance company, somebody reply-all’d to a claims department wide email with the words “spinach dip and chips”—this triggered the usual waterfall of dingus’s replying all to that email asking to be removed from the email chain, etc. It got so bad that our big manager of the entire department reply-all’d to tell people to stop replying-all—I bet you can see how that went..
Long story short: do it.
