Running a Bitcoin node and trying to police content is like running a tor relay and trying to do the same.

You can either run a service for a decentralized network or not.

Perhaps it'd be nice if that wasn't how it worked.

But it is.

You can prune if you'd like though. Turns out nobody is making you run an archival node. The network appreciates the bandwidth, but don't mistake your gift for a string attached for the network.

Good news though. The blocksize limit was capped almost a decade ago. So your disk space usage is something you can predict reliably. At no more than 4 MB every 10 minutes. Whether it's dickbutts or villagers organizing a revolution.

And if you think the dickbutts are going to win over Bitcoin as money in a free market for blockspace, are you sure you're not Peter Schiff?
