Hospital rang me while i was having my post-swim coffee. Nothing major but they did want me to get a blood test before the surgery, today if i could please and only at their preferred pathology provider (Laverty). They emailed me the form.

Unclear why they couldn't have asked earlier so it could've been planned rather than last minute - apparently it's just to get details (like my blood type?) in case i need a blood transfusion.

Anyway, got it done after the massage. 🙄
