also slightly related, but im listening to a lot more audio books now :). its nice to multitask (eg. reading a book and working out). previous tts software just grated my ears and now local cpu generated audio sounds so nice
handy, a local speech to text ai, is useful to quickly type up stuff
anyways, i find it faster to review&edit than to code in one go, so looking forward to local models getting better. useful understanding unknown codebases and to parallelize some work
