i found ai does generate better code on FOSS software over proprietary (prob since it is trained on it)
its also useful to understand/prototype on the codebase as well. eg i ask what xyz ticket requires, and it points out good spots (proprietary codebase so its massive and everyone is busy)
another useful thing is letting ai do stuff on ur computer (eg. install xyz program) but i wouldnt trust this too much bc of injection attacks
translation to other langs is good too
