Some peppers are clearly more cold tolerant than others so when I do my long thread next week on all the peppers I grew this year, I’ll also include cold tolerance.
Here’s a side by side comparison of SR bell stripey (species baccatum) next to Ajà dulce (species chinense) one week after the hard frost. Most of the baccatums showed no damage to main stems while chinense showed significant damage.
