i kindof always thought clients should do this type of thing, for things like app settings.. that way they can manage their internal keys for stuff that doesn't need be signed by the 'main key'. so it's an interesting idea to me generally.. it seems very difficult to do complicated nostr stuff when the key is accessed thousands of times a second (and we have to pretend we approved all of it, and signers choke if we don't).
not sure if this is what luxas is doing, but it reminded me of the idea.
