Best I can figure, the election triggered a wave of high-follow celebrities and pop culture figures to quit and X and move to Bluesky, and now their followers are following. Some are moving to Threads instead or in addition, but as I've observed all along, Bluesky is by far the most Twitter-like of all today's Twitter-like services.
