it’s completely illogical. Suppose I do a degree and then get a job in a drug company. I work on medical drugs for my entire career. Why would a government put an extra tax burden on me than if I didn’t do the degree and worked on something less beneficial? Not to say every graduate is doing something noble but without those types of job, the country is worse off.
