#WritingWonders D16: how comfortable are you writing kissing and or intimacy scenes?
Not really. I worry it’ll be dull to read. I’ll only write sex scenes in full if the story calls for it. Otherwise I fade to black. My MC in this WIP has endometriosis which greatly affects her sex life.
I’m not really a fan of reading sex scenes because of tropes. The male hero with chiselled abs helps the female MC realise she’s beautiful, or rescues her from being raped and immediately has sex with her. 🤮
