Possibly, though to be quite honest I suspect most use cases would be better served by just adding RSS support (e.g. Hansard should absolutely have an RSS feed, rather than just posting to an account on X).
There's some use cases that might benefit from the ability to reply, but for the most part that just opens up a whole can of worms around the federal government having to moderate those discussions that's quite politically fraught.
