Its not exactly in my wheelhouse but it didn’t make too much sense as “line cooking“ and baking are kind of two different things; the usual setup I see is restaurants outsourcing their desert menu (for intricate baked goods like that). It would be kind of weird to see a highly skilled baker who says “I think I’ll be a line cook too!”. and in this case it would be even more unusual to see people who are fundamentally bad at everything else yet somehow able to pull it together every day to bake a bunch of stuff. 🤔
