We ended that evening at Pivovarský dům Benedict, a craft brewery focussed on Czech Lagers. I think they were using some sort of New World hops because these lovely notes of pineapple and lychee certainly don't come from Saaz hops. There was a touch of grainyness in the finish. I guess the water in Prague is harder than that in Plzeň, but I will not hold this against them because this was a lovely Czech Lager with a beautiful New World spin.

My girlfriend was also very happy with her Sour.
