Can’t say that I am surprised that the replacement bus signage was far from useful. When we arrived with the replacement bus from Altamura, it stopped just in front of Matera Centrale, but the replacement bus back to Altamura left from another bus stop a few hundred metres away. Or that is what another passenger told us, it might of course be that she was wrong and the bus would have left from the stop in front of the station.
