The thing is, after what happened with former friend last week, I've been doing a lot of thinking. What it comes down to is, it's not that hard to try to be kind. If you can't do anything else, at least be kind. I wouldn't walk away from someone I'd upset even if I barely knew them, let alone claimed they were my friend. Even if I thought they were being OTT, I'd be there with them in that. It doesn't matter whether they're technically "right." It matters to be there, and be kind.
