It feels a bit like the Linux elitist discourse. Even if I don't like the herd instinct and a bit of lazyness when it comes to adapting, looking down on people for their choices doesn't make anyone better off.
The real question is what could the Fediverse learn / do that is not an AI algorithm to improve discoverability?
Maybe I'm wrong but I feel what people liked about Twitter / BSky is also ultimately the root of all the evil it did at the end.
