I guess, most of us started with the classic homebrewer styles of American Pale, Amber or Brown Ale. They are not complicated beers and it is super easy to make an example of the style that is at least decent. It's been a while since I made an Amber Ale and I have since been more interested in making Belgian Ales. But I think every now and then people should return back to their roots to see what they have learned in the meantime.
