bryan (npub1dld…fd8s) details how he uses ⚡Zeus⚡ wallet, Tail Scale and his ☂️Umbrel to quickly access his non-custodial lightning node.
How To: Use Zeus mobile + Tail Scale VPN + Umbrel Lightning Node.
Background: I am running a lightning node using umbrel and I wanted to be able to use zeus mobile to access the node for "on the go" payments. The TOR connection was extremely slow which made it nearly impossible to use.
1) Have a well maintained, well connected lightning node, in this case, umbrel.
2) Download the Zeus mobile application.
3) Open your umbrel lightning node and in the upper right corner click "connect wallet."
4) Now, on mobile, open Zeus and click settings and the first tab. Now, click the plus sign and scan the QR code of your umbrel node.
5) Download tailscale on both umbrel and your mobile. Link both your umbrel and your phone to the same account/email.
6) Now, open settings again on the zeus app and click the first tab again to open your node details.
7) Delete the .onion address under "host" and unselect the "use tor" button.
You should now be able to quickly use zeus to access your node anywhere in the world.

Stu (npub1w4s…prhz) Could the answer to Jack’s GitHub replacement bounty be sitting under our 👃noses? Stu posits a way to use a multisig private key to create a repository of notes that could be extracted. Experts are weighing in.
I have an idea for a nostr GitHub replacement but it seems too simple. 😂 There’s no code. 🤣
Maybe this could be a NIP?
To create a repo you create a new pubkey (maybe with multisig).
The repo pubkey will publish notes (repo notes) that include nothing but a list of noteID’s.
eg
noteID1
noteID2
noteID3
(these noteID’s are the files, but how? Each of these notes contains a path/file.name and the source code of a file, they are code notes)
These code notes listed on the repo note can be created by anyone, but the repo pubkey only publishes repo notes. Repo notes only contain lists of noteIDs that make up the source code of the repo, the code notes. Whoever controls the repo pubkey controls which noteID’s are on the repo notes published by the repo pubkey.
Each source code noteID, listed in the repo note that is published by the repo pubkey must have the following syntax:
Line 1: path/file.name
Line 2: line 1 of source code
Line n: line n-1 of source code
To get the files from a nostr repo all you need is the pubkey. You pull the latest note of the repo pubkey and then download every noteID that is listed in the latest repo note from the repo pubkey and you run a script that creates path/file.name from line 1 of each code note and injects the source code from line 2-n of the note.
Anyone can make changes to the source code, but only when the repo pubkey publishes a more recent repo note that references new noteID’s that represent code changes do the changes actually go live.
Does this make sense? 🤔

4. Product listing storefront - personal storefront with your profile, shows all of your products for sale (clickable, purchasable)
5. User / storefront / product discovery - a way to explore other stores to see what else is for sale (perhaps sortable or searchable)
6. Ability to sign up (generate new keys) or use existing keys (login)
7. Integration with popular wallets (pick one for now - alby?). Eventually I’d love to have built-in wallets so everyone who signs up automatically gets one, but this is not a requirement for this bounty.
8. Ability to communicate with customer (perhaps via the same DM they got the link in?) A nicely styled inbox would be cool that makes it easy to find customers by invoice # and perhaps sortable by product names
Each store would have its’ own URL, preferably a nice short one that you can share.
Product fields:
- Cover Image
- Title
- Description
- Upload / link to file (prefer upload, and hopefully support for multiple files)
- Additional images (bonus, but not required for bounty. I’d love to be able to have an image gallery).
- Bonus: ability to pin positive notes / reviews to the product note.
Bonus: Nice onboarding flow, sign up > list product > live.
Bonus: NIP-05 identifier area (perhaps settings)
Bonus: Looks good out of the gate (perhaps with Tailwind UI or something)
Bonus: Built-in viral loops that auto-share purchase (if selected in options)
Bonus: ability to embed in a website
Bonus: show total number of sales in the storefront
